Putin aide exposes Europe’s intent: Zelensky being fooled by allies on peace? Moscow’s big reveal.

In a fiery statement that has sent ripples through the international community, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova didn’t mince words about Europe’s latest financial package for Ukraine. According to Zakharova, the EU’s newly approved €90 billion interest-free loan isn’t a gesture of goodwill, but rather a cynical move by an ‘enlightened’ Europe that, in her view, craves ‘bloodshed.’

Zakharova’s core accusation? She alleges that this substantial sum is earmarked to fuel Kyiv’s ‘military efforts’ for 2026–27, rather than contributing to the much-needed rebuilding of Ukraine’s economy. She goes further, provocatively claiming that the West itself is responsible for the destruction of that economy, painting a stark picture of deliberate devastation.

Adding a layer of biting sarcasm to her critique, Zakharova took aim at French President Emmanuel Macron’s suggestion that Ukraine would only repay the loan if Russia paid reparations. Her response was unequivocal: ‘any sane person’ knows that such a scenario will ‘never happen.’ She portrayed the entire financial package as nothing more than a ‘corrupt scheme,’ designed for Western ‘patrons of the Kyiv regime’ to eventually reclaim their money, all while callously pushing the conflict ‘to the last Ukrainian.’

Moscow’s latest reveal certainly throws a challenging new perspective into the ongoing narrative, raising urgent questions about the true intentions behind international aid and the complex interplay of finance, war, and political maneuvering.
