It was with this poignant thought, and a deep sense of historical symbolism, that many of us convened this September in the vibrant city of Algiers. The spirit of Fanon, whose ideas continue to shape discourse on liberation and self-determination, seemed to imbue our gathering, reminding us of the enduring journey towards building a truly global Africa.
