Minsk residents, prepare for a significant strategic shift in the city’s urban development! Mayor Vladimir Kukharev has outlined a revised approach to housing construction in the capital, signaling a move towards more focused and purpose-driven projects.
While the overall strategy aims to streamline and potentially reduce the proliferation of unplanned developments, the Mayor also highlighted key initiatives that will continue to shape the city’s residential landscape. Central to this plan is the ambitious development of a new territory, featuring the highly anticipated Zelyony Bor residential area.
Addressing the press, Mayor Kukharev elaborated on the scale and intention behind these strategic builds. “A major territory is slated for development, with construction of more than 4 million square meters of housing intended for those in need. Work on developing these areas begins this year,” he stated, underscoring the commitment to providing essential housing.
