The district administration has officially proposed the acquisition of substantial land parcels strategically located near crucial transportation links: the Meerut-Pauri highway and the Gorakhpur-Shamli expressway. Specifically, the acquisition plans involve two key areas:
- In the Meerut tehsil, a total of 1,175 hectares of land has been earmarked across eight villages.
