According to official data released by the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB), Zimbabwe has hit a remarkable milestone. Between January and November of this year, our tobacco exports have collectively generated an astounding US$1.1 billion!
This impressive figure was achieved through the sale of 201.415 million kilogrammes of semi-processed tobacco, commanding an average price of US$5.66 per kilogramme. This performance not only highlights the high demand for Zimbabwean tobacco but also its premium quality on the global market.
